Speech-Language Pathologist Needed Empower Communication in Boone County Schools

Boone County Schools is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapy and assessments that help students develop critical communication skills for academic and social success. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated, student-centered team.

Position Overview:
As an SLP, you will assess student needs, design individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions across a diverse caseload.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech-language evaluations and prepare clear reports

• Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with IEP goals

• Address articulation, fluency, receptive/expressive language, and social communication

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress

• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations and updates

• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district and state requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Active Kentucky SLP License

• Kentucky Department of Education Certification for School-Based SLPs

• ASHA CCC strongly preferred

• School-based or pediatric experience preferred

• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
