School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: Lawrence, KS

A school district near Lawrence, Kansas is seeking a full-time licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a collaborative and supportive school-based team. This position offers flexibility, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student development and success.

• Schedule: Full-Time (37.5 hours/week)

• Caseload: Approximately 75 students across multiple K12 school buildings

• Start Date: New School Year (NSY)

• License Requirement: Active Kansas OT certification/license

• Provide direct therapy services (individual or group) and consultative support based on student-specific needs

• Address areas such as fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care , and classroom access

• Develop and implement therapy goals within students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress

• Train and coach school staff on strategies to enhance student participation and success

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
