A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a full school year contract position in Sterling Heights, MI, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This onsite role focuses primarily on the K-3 population within a three-building school setting, offering a caseload of approximately 15-20 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations for students with IEPs.
- Provide speech therapy services tailored to individual student needs.
- Utilize the EdPlan system for documentation and progress tracking.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to support student communication goals.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working with pediatric populations.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Familiarity with school-based SLP practices and IEP processes.
