Pediatric School Speech Therapist Katy, Texas

A healthcare facility in the Katy, Texas area is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to provide comprehensive speech and language services. This contract position offers an opportunity to work onsite with pediatric and school-age populations, with both full-time and part-time schedules available.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active Texas licensure or eligibility for licensure
• ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience in school settings is an advantage
• Knowledge of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
• Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Location: Katy, TX

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in pediatric and school-aged patients
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs
• Collaborate closely with families, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathology assistants (SLPAs) to ensure comprehensive care
• Monitor patient progress, adjust therapy plans accordingly, and maintain detailed documentation
• Ensure compliance with facility and regulatory standards in all aspects of service delivery

This role requires strong clinical expertise in both healthcare and school environments, with opportunities to provide teletherapy services also considered. Candidates with experience as Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) supporting SLPs in healthcare or school settings will also find relevant openings available.
