An excellent opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support school-age students during the 2023-2024 school year in the Fairfax, VA area. This contract position offers valuable experience in an educational setting, working closely with children to improve their communication skills.

Location: Fairfax, VA (School setting)

Responsibilities:

• Assist Speech Language Pathologists in providing therapy services to school-age students
• Support individualized treatment plans aimed at improving speech and language abilities
• Collaborate with educators and school staff to ensure consistency and progress
• Document and track student progress in accordance with state and district guidelines
• Participate in professional development and team meetings as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field
