Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Ypsilanti, Michigan

A school-based opportunity is available for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) working with K-12 students in Ypsilanti, MI. This role offers the chance to join a supportive team dedicated to enhancing student communication skills through tailored therapeutic services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
• Deliver evidence-based speech therapy services either in-person or through teletherapy platforms.

• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines.
• Participate in professional development and continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Michigan SLP license required.
• Experience in schools is preferred; clinical fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply and will receive supervision if hired.
• Skills in pediatric speech and language therapy, teletherapy, and healthcare communication are beneficial.
• Ability to work effectively as part of an educational team.

Position Details:

• Contract role for the 2022-2023 school year.
• Part-time schedule, approximately 3.75 hours per day (18.75 hours per week).
