A school-based opportunity is available for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) working with K-12 students in Ypsilanti, MI. This role offers the chance to join a supportive team dedicated to enhancing student communication skills through tailored therapeutic services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Deliver evidence-based speech therapy services either in-person or through teletherapy platforms.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines.
- Participate in professional development and continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Michigan SLP license required.
- Experience in schools is preferred; clinical fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply and will receive supervision if hired.
- Skills in pediatric speech and language therapy, teletherapy, and healthcare communication are beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively as part of an educational team.
Position Details:
- Contract role for the 2022-2023 school year.
- Part-time schedule, approximately 3.75 hours per day (18.75 hours per week).
