A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the upcoming school year in a K-12 educational setting located in North Hollywood, CA. This contract role offers a comprehensive work schedule of approximately 24-25 hours per week during the school year, providing the opportunity to support a diverse student population ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, preferably within educational or healthcare settings
- Familiarity with teletherapy service delivery models
- Candidates who have completed their Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) or equivalent
- Background working in school environments or with school-aged children
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and design individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct therapy services in person and via teletherapy platforms as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Document and maintain compliance with all educational and clinical regulations
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and reporting requirements
