School Occupational Therapist - Thermopolis, Wyoming

A specialized opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to provide dedicated services in an elementary school setting, supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This contract assignment, located in Thermopolis, WY, spans the current school year from August 25 to May 26, offering a consistent schedule of 36-40 hours per week.

The role involves managing a caseload of 40-60 students, providing both in-person and virtual therapy options to accommodate diverse educational environments. Candidates with experience in home health, healthcare, teletherapy, and school-based OT will find this role aligns with a broad range of skills. Collaboration with Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) is welcomed, particularly for in-person services, to enhance the delivery of therapeutic interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and develop individualized occupational therapy plans for students K-12.
• Implement therapy sessions both virtually and in-person, tailored to student needs.
