Speech and Language Pathologist in Houston, TX

A full-time, full school year contract position is available in Houston, TX for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility. This role offers the opportunity to provide speech and language services within a school setting, helping students improve communication skills and succeed academically.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal setting
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals as necessary

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility for CFY
• Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in Texas
• Experience providing speech-language services in a school setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
