Speech Language Pathologist in Edenton, NC

A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2020-21 school year in the Edenton, NC area. This contract role involves working within a school setting, providing essential speech and language services to students. Both Speech Language Pathologists in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and those holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of 50 to 60 students, delivering individualized speech and language therapy
• Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in a school environment
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state regulations

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Valid North Carolina state license and certification to practice
• Eligibility to work as an SLP with either CFY status or CCC credential
• Strong communication and organizational skills
