New England Academy (Beverly Campus) is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and skilled Speech and Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team. The Speech and Language Pathologist is responsible for providing speech, language and hearing therapy for students. The Speech and Language Pathologist provides direct therapy and school consultation. The ideal candidate will have experience working with adolescents with social and/or emotional challenges, IEP writing and implementation, and participation in Team meetings. New England Academy is a private, special education therapeutic day school that specializes in trauma-informed supports for students with a variety of complex social/emotional disabilities ranging from grades 7-12. New England Academy offers students a supportive, non-behavioral learning environment that addresses their executive functioning and social emotional needs in the context of an academically rigorous curriculum in order to prepare for post secondary life.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Provide direct 1:1 and small group speech and language therapy.Provide classroom and clinical consult to staff.Facilitate social pragmatics groups for students.Maintains contact with parents of students.Works with staff to coordinate goals and objectives.Assists in screening, evaluating and recommending speech and language services for students.Evaluates student progress based on therapy progress and clinical observation, determines goals, objectives and directions.Prepares, IEP forms, classroom observation records, clinical summaries and other miscellaneous survey and forms.Participates in the development and presentation of student I.E.P.s

Job Requirements
