Job Description:
We are currently seeking a motivated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CFY) to join our team in the Sarasota, FL Metropolitan Area. This full-time, school-based position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse student population across various grade levels. As a Clinical Fellow, you will receive consistent supervision and mentorship while gaining hands-on experience in a collaborative and supportive educational setting.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language screenings and assist with comprehensive evaluations
Assist in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
Provide direct therapy services to students under supervision
Collaborate with experienced SLPs, teachers, parents, and school staff to support student goals
Document student progress and maintain appropriate records under guidance
Participate in IEP meetings and staff conferences as appropriate
Engage in professional development and training aligned with your CFY plan
Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Eligibility for Florida SLP licensure and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) placement
Provisional Florida SLP license or pending application preferred
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to take initiative and work collaboratively as part of a school-based team
Passion for working with children in educational settings
