An opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide services within a K-12 school setting. This position offers the flexibility of full or part-time hours, supporting students across elementary to high school levels throughout the North Shore Year (NSY) contract duration. The role is based in Joliet, IL, providing a dynamic and rewarding environment for delivering specialized therapeutic interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to a diverse caseload of K-12 students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized treatment plans
- Document and monitor student progress in accordance with school policies and state regulations
- Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams focused on student success
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid Illinois Occupational Therapist License
- Experience working with a school-aged caseload is preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
