As a school-based SLP-CCC or CFY, you will assess student needs, develop and implement speech-language therapy goals, track progress, and work closely with special education teams and families. CFYs will receive full clinical supervision and mentorship throughout the fellowship year.

To qualify in Texas, SLPs must hold or be eligible for licensure through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Candidates completing their CFY must have completed an accredited graduate program and be pursuing ASHA certification.
