Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CFY) to join our school-based team in the New Orleans, LA metro area for the 2025-2026 school year. This full-time position offers supervised clinical experience and support toward earning the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, while making a real difference in students' communication skills and academic success.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language screenings, assessments, and evaluations under supervision.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with IEP teams.
Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students with communication disorders.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation, progress reports, and compliance with IDEA regulations.
Participate in parent meetings, team conferences, and school staff consultations.
Receive regular supervision from a licensed CCC-SLP mentor in accordance with ASHA requirements.
Qualifications: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Eligible for Clinical Fellowship (CF) in the state of Louisiana.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Commitment to providing evidence-based and student-centered services.
Familiarity with school-based therapy and IEP processes is a plus.
