Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist Empower Communication in Edison Township Schools

Edison Township School District is actively hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to deliver assessments and therapy services that help students build strong communication skills essential for academic and social success. Position Overview:
As an SLP, you will assess student needs, create individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy targeting a wide range of speech and language skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech-language evaluations and write clear, detailed reports

• Develop and implement therapy plans in alignment with IEP goals

• Address articulation, fluency, expressive and receptive language, and pragmatic communication

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress

• Attend IEP meetings and provide recommendations and progress updates

• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and district requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Active New Jersey SLP License

• New Jersey Department of Education Certification for School-Based SLPs

• ASHA CCC strongly preferred

• Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred

• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
