Passaic City Schools is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to help students develop essential communication skills for academic success and social engagement. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive, student-focused team.
About the Role:
As an SLP, you will evaluate student needs, create individualized therapy plans, and deliver interventions that promote growth and confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and prepare clear reports
Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with IEP objectives
Provide intervention targeting articulation, fluency, receptive and expressive language, and social communication
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to encourage consistent progress
Attend IEP meetings to share recommendations and updates
Maintain accurate documentation in line with district and state regulations
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active New Jersey SLP License
New Jersey DOE Certification for school-based SLPs
ASHA CCC preferred
School or pediatric experience strongly valued
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Position Details:
Type: Full-time, onsite
Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours
Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
