Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist Join Kenton County Schools to Empower Communication

Kenton County Schools is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to deliver evaluations and therapy that help students strengthen their communication skills for academic and social success. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative, student-centered team.

Position Overview:
As an SLP, you will assess student needs, create individualized treatment plans, and provide therapy across a range of speech and language areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech-language assessments and prepare clear, comprehensive reports

• Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with IEP objectives

• Address articulation, fluency, receptive/expressive language, and pragmatic communication

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support progress

• Participate in IEP meetings to share recommendations and updates

• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines

Required Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Active Kentucky SLP License

• Kentucky Department of Education Certification for School-Based SLPs

• ASHA CCC strongly preferred

• School-based or pediatric experience preferred

• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
