Speech-Language Pathologist Opening Full-Time K12 Role in Clinton Township

Chippewa Valley Schools is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide assessments and therapy services that empower students to communicate effectively in the classroom and beyond. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, student-centered team.

Position Overview:
As an SLP, you will assess student abilities, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy that supports communication, confidence, and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech-language evaluations and prepare thorough reports

• Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with IEP objectives

• Address articulation, fluency, receptive/expressive language, and social communication

• Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to encourage student progress

• Participate in IEP meetings and share recommendations and updates

• Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Active Michigan SLP License

• Michigan Department of Education Certification for School-Based SLPs

• ASHA CCC strongly preferred

• School-based or pediatric experience preferred

• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
