A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and School SLP certification is needed for a part-time contract position in Chicago, IL, for the current school year. This role supports students in a self-contained elementary school setting, providing specialized speech and language services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pull-out speech and language therapy focused on communication skills, device use, and social-emotional development
- Provide individualized 1:1 interventions tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators and other staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation consistent with state and federal guidelines
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology
- Valid Illinois State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist - School
- Experience working with self-contained elementary school caseloads preferred
- Strong skills in communication techniques, AAC device support, and social-emotional speech goals
- Ability to follow a structured schedule; current days are Monday and Thursday, with flexibility possible
- Commitment to providing high-quality, student-centered therapy

Schedule and Location:
- Part-time: 3 days per week, 7.5 hours per day with a 30-minute duty-free lunch
