School Speech Therapist

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the upcoming school year at an elementary school setting in Candler, NC. This contract role is designed to provide quality speech therapy services, supporting the communication development of young students in a focused and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver speech-language therapy services to three elementary students, tailoring interventions to meet individual needs. Collaborate with educators and staff to integrate communication goals within the classroom setting. Track and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes. Provide services primarily onsite with the flexibility for virtual sessions as appropriate. Qualifications and Experience: Current Speech-Language Pathology Certification (CCC-SLP) required. Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred. Ability to adapt therapy approaches in both onsite and virtual formats. Excellent communication and organizational skills for managing caseload and record-keeping. Location: This role is based onsite in Candler, NC, with an openness to remote virtual service delivery when needed. Schedule and Hours: Part-time commitment of 15 hours per week during the normal school year.
