Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support K-12 students across multiple local school districts. This contract position runs for the full school year and involves servicing a diverse student population with a broad range of speech and language needs, including some students with autism spectrum disorders. Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for students K-12 Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication challenges Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress Monitor and document student progress according to established protocols Adapt techniques to meet varied student needs, including those on the autism spectrum Participate in team meetings and professional development activities Qualifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Valid School Speech-Language Pathologist certification Experience working with children across the K-12 range Ability to address a full range of speech and language disorders, including autism-related communication challenges Strong communication and collaboration skills Location: Position based in Columbus, KS, with services provided in local school districts; exact school locations to be determined Virtual work arrangements to be decided by the supervising director This full-time role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' communication skills throughout the school year.
