Occupational Therapist School Setting - Irmo, SC

This full-time Occupational Therapist position offers a rewarding opportunity to support K-12 students in a district-wide setting. Located in Irmo, SC, this contract role is available from August 1, 2025, through May 29, 2026, with potential pre- and post-planning days. The schedule is flexible with 30 hours per week, allowing for work-life balance while delivering vital therapeutic services.

Responsibilities include providing direct and indirect occupational therapy services to a caseload of approximately 27 students, primarily in grades K-6, with one high school student. As the sole OT serving the district, you will collaborate closely with one physical therapist and several speech-language pathologists to maximize student outcomes. You will implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and utilize district-provided materials as determined necessary.

Qualifications for this position require an active South Carolina Occupational Therapist license. Candidates must be able to work independently since no Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants will be available for supervision. Experience working within school systems and familiarization with K-12 interventions are highly desired.
