This opportunity seeks a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized support to K-12 students in Oregon City, OR. This contract role spans the full school year and requires a dedicated professional focused on improving speech and language outcomes for children within a school setting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive evaluations of students with speech and language disorders
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Leading therapeutic sessions targeted at achieving specific speech and language goals
- Closely monitoring and documenting student progress throughout therapy
- Collaborating effectively with educators, therapists, and other multidisciplinary team members
- Engaging families by providing education and involving them in the therapy process
Qualifications and experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure to practice in Oregon
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience serving pediatric and/or school-aged populations is highly valued
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
