Pediatric School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Mansfield, Ohio

A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to support early childhood and elementary-aged students. This contract position spans the 2024-2025 academic year, providing services in a vibrant educational setting focused on preschool through 3rd grade.

• Location: Mansfield, OH
• Duration: August 19, 2024 June 2, 2025
• Work Hours: 8:15 AM 3:45 PM, Monday through Friday
• Caseload: Approximately 45 students
• Age Group: Preschool through 3rd grade, including all preschool classrooms and Head Start programs

Qualifications and Experience:

• Must hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience in healthcare and pediatrics preferred
• Eligibility or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Background working in school settings is essential
• Strong ability to service diverse preschool and elementary student populations

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments and screenings for preschool to 3rd grade children
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting speech and language development
• Collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff to promote student progress
• Provide direct therapy services across multiple preschool classrooms and Head Start programs
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies and regulations
