Occupational Therapist School Setting in Manning, SC

A full-time Occupational Therapist is needed to provide skilled therapeutic services in a K-12 educational setting located in Manning, SC. This contract position runs from March through the end of the school year and focuses on supporting students across grades PreK-12.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering occupational therapy evaluations and interventions to a caseload of approximately 70 students, shared with another OT
• Collaborating with educators, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Utilizing a range of service delivery methods including in-person sessions, teletherapy, and home health visits as appropriate
• Maintaining detailed documentation of student progress, assessments, and therapy sessions in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to student support planning

Qualifications and experience desired:

• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience in pediatric OT, particularly within home health, healthcare, teletherapy, and school-based settings
• Strong knowledge of developmental milestones and therapeutic techniques for diverse student populations
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a school environment
