This role involves providing teletherapy and in-person services to a mixed caseload of students ranging from 5 years old up to high school age. The position spans elementary, middle, and high school locations situated close together, with additional services offered to two students attending area private schools.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech-language therapy to diverse student populations within the school setting
- Providing teletherapy sessions as part of treatment plans
- Collaborating with educational staff and reporting directly to the Special Education Supervisor
- Managing a daily caseload with a focus on individualized student progress
- Ensuring compliance with school policies and relevant regulations, with no use of Speech-Language Pathology Assistants or VOCO services currently required
Qualifications and experience sought:
- Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Pediatric speech-language therapy expertise
- Experience with teletherapy service delivery
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous work in school-based speech-language therapy preferred
