Vida Charter School seeks part-time Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) to support our K-6 student population. The SLP will provide in person speech-language evaluations, therapy, and progress monitoring for students with IEPs and collaborate with staff and families to meet each student s communication goals. The ideal candidate is communicative, equity-driven, organized, and passionate about working with diverse learners in a bilingual setting. Bilingual Spanish-English skills are strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Conduct speech-language assessments to determine eligibility for services and guide IEP development. Case manage and provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs. Offer proactive, small group support to students without IEPs as-needed. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that support students access to academic content. Collaborate with teachers, families, special educators, and other team members to monitor student progress. Provide progress reports as indicated by students IEPs. Lead and participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights to team-based decision-making. Maintain an organized roster of students. Promptly communicate any changes to a child s services to the principal and to the Business and Operations Manager to ensure appropriate billing. Comply with timelines and federal, state, and local policies. Provide training and consultation to school staff on speech and language strategies, assistive technologies, and communication supports. Maintain all documentation, including progress reports, session logs, and Medicaid billing information, in accordance with state and federal regulations. Stay current with research-based practices and maintain required certifications and licensure. Qualifications Required: Master s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Valid Pennsylvania Certification in Speech and Language Impaired PK-12 or Educational Specialist Certificate for School Speech and Language Pathologist PK-12. Experience working with pk-12 students and managing students Individualized Education Plans in a public school setting. Preferred: American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Active Pennsylvania licensure in Speech-Language Pathology. Bilingual in Spanish and English. Experience working in a dual language or multilingual educational setting.
