Remote Physical Therapist (School-Based) Kansas City, MO

We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide virtual services to K-12 students to a school district in Missouri. This 1099 contract position offers flexibility and the opportunity to deliver therapy remotely, supporting students physical development and educational success.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver virtual physical therapy to K-12 students with mobility and motor skill challenges.
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress.
• Monitor and document student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for classroom modifications and adaptive equipment.

Qualifications:

• Masters or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• Active PT license in the state of residence and where services will be provided (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience in a school setting preferred.
• Familiarity with IEPs and a variety of physical disabilities.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable with virtual platforms (training provided).
