Pediatric School Speech Therapist - Parachute, Colorado

This opportunity is ideal for professionals with certification in speech-language pathology or speech-language pathology assistance, eager to contribute to a dynamic K-12 educational environment. The position accommodates both experienced speech-language pathologists and new graduates, as well as qualified speech language pathology assistants.

Position Overview:

• On-site role located in Parachute, CO
• Full school year contract from August 2025 through May 2026
• 35 hours per week, providing services during the school year
• Caseload includes students from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Work will be divided between two or three schools within the district

Qualifications and Experience:

• Certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant credential specific to schools
• Experience working with pediatric populations preferred but new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Ability to manage a K-12 caseload effectively
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work successfully with students, educators, and families
• Commitment to providing on-site clinical services

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized intervention plans
• Deliver therapy to students with diverse communication needs across the grade spectrum
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory and educational standards
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices
