A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in a K-12 school setting located in Boise, ID. This role offers the chance to develop your clinical skills while supporting students communication needs in an educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services to students across grades K-12
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals
- Participate in meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations related to speech-language therapy in schools
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology license or eligibility to obtain licensure in Idaho
- Completion of academic requirements for the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) as an SLP
- Knowledge of pediatric speech and language disorders and evidence-based intervention techniques
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within a multidisciplinary school team
- Ability to manage caseload and organize documentation in compliance with school policies
