Position Overview East Jackson School District is seeking a compassionate, flexible, and licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to serve students across a diverse and supportive K-12 district. With 28 schools in the district, caseloads are thoughtfully assigned based on candidate strengths, experience, and interests. This full-time, school-year role offers opportunities for professional growth, mentorship, and meaningful impact. Key Responsibilities Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students with fine motor, sensory, self-help, and adaptive needs Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations and contribute to eligibility and IEP meetings Develop and implement individualized therapy goals aligned with student needs and educational access Document student progress and maintain compliance with IDEA, state, and district regulations Collaborate with teachers, support staff, families, and other service providers Travel between assigned schools (travel reimbursement provided) Qualifications Master's degree in Occupational Therapy Active Mississippi OT license (or eligibility to obtain) NBCOT certification Strong communication and time management skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a school team New graduates are encouraged to apply!
