School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Glendale, California

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to provide comprehensive services across nine school sites. This contract position supports students ranging from Transitional Kindergarten through 6th grade within a K-12 educational setting. The role focuses on a wide range of disabilities, from mild to severe, emphasizing individualized treatment to promote effective communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with diverse speech and language needs. Deliver speech-language therapy services to students TK-6 with varied disabilities. Collaborate with SLPA's, paraprofessionals, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance service delivery. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines. Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional expertise. Qualifications and Experience: Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Previous experience working in educational settings with K-6 students. Proficient in addressing a wide range of disabilities including mild to severe speech and language impairments. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Strong organizational and communication skills.
