Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time, full school year opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) to serve a K-12 caseload in a public school setting located in Palouse, WA. This contract position offers the chance to work with a diverse student population across all grade levels, providing speech and language therapy services to support student communication and academic success. Key responsibilities include: Conducting comprehensive evaluations and ongoing assessments of students' speech and language needs from kindergarten through 12th grade Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans focused on speech, language, voice, fluency, and AAC interventions, including use of VOCO Tony Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and inclusion Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and complying with school and state regulatory requirements Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to school-wide initiatives related to speech and language services Preferred qualifications and experience: Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) from ASHA Experience working with K-12 students in school settings Proficiency with augmentative and alternative communication devices, particularly VOCO Tony Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to manage a diverse caseload with varying speech and language needs Location: Palouse, Washington This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on student achievement throughout the school year in a supportive and collaborative environment.
