Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract An engaging opportunity is available for a full-time Occupational Therapist to support students in grades Kindergarten through 8th at a vibrant elementary educational setting in Waldorf, MD. This full-time contract position offers 35 hours per week within a dynamic school environment during the upcoming school year. Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct occupational therapy services to a caseload of 10 students requiring individualized treatment. Provide consultation services on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis as assigned to additional students, totaling a classroom population of 45. Collaborate with teachers and school staff to develop and implement effective strategies that support student progress and participation. Participate in teacher orientation sessions starting August 14th and 15th, preparing to welcome students on August 26th. Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress in compliance with school policies and standards. Qualifications: State licensure in Occupational Therapy. Experience working within a school-based setting preferred. Ability to manage a diverse caseload including both direct therapy and consultative roles. Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers. Enthusiasm for supporting the developmental and educational growth of students in an inclusive environment. Location: Waldorf, MD

Position Type: Contract, Full-Time (35 hours/week)
