A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available within a K-12 school setting located in Salinas, CA. This contract role covers one full semester and is focused on providing support to students in grades 7 through 12, depending on site assignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student evaluations and treatment.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a California Speech-Language Pathologist credential.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
- Experience working with middle and high school-aged students (grades 7-12).
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 55 students.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- SLPA credentials are not accepted for this position.
Work Details:
