Speech Language Pathologist in Salinas, CA

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available within a K-12 school setting located in Salinas, CA. This contract role covers one full semester and is focused on providing support to students in grades 7 through 12, depending on site assignment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of student evaluations and treatment.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a California Speech-Language Pathologist credential.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
• Experience working with middle and high school-aged students (grades 7-12).
• Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 55 students.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• SLPA credentials are not accepted for this position.

Work Details:

• 1.0 Full-Time Equivalent position (7 hours per day).
• Work hours vary based on school site assignments.
• Location within the Salinas area, supporting a school site in the local district.
