Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Located in Sun Valley, NV, this position offers an opportunity to provide essential speech-language pathology services in an elementary school setting. The role is a contracted, school-year position focused on supporting young students with speech and language challenges through evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students presenting with speech and language disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs Deliver targeted therapy sessions to improve communication skills Track and document student progress with accuracy and attention to detail Collaborate closely with educators, healthcare providers, and therapists to coordinate care Engage and educate families about therapy goals and strategies to support their child's development Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Possession of a current state license or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is highly regarded Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team Active approval by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology in Nevada or ability to obtain licensure Benefits & Support:
