School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) Job

Hours: 37.5 hours/week
Sites: Two elementary schools

A school district in Berwyn, IL is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to join their team for the upcoming school year. This full-time opportunity involves working across two elementary campuses, providing support to students with diverse developmental, sensory, and motor needs.

As the OT, you'll play a key role in helping students access their education by supporting their fine motor skills, self-regulation, sensory processing, and functional independence. You'll collaborate closely with educators, families, and other specialists to deliver services in alignment with IEP goals.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to elementary-aged students

• Conduct evaluations and participate in eligibility and IEP meetings

• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor student progress

• Collaborate with classroom staff and related service providers

• Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with district standards

Qualifications:

• Illinois OT license

• School-based or pediatric experience is preferred

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to manage a caseload across multiple sites
