A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) is sought to support students in a K-12 school environment in Atlanta, GA. This contract position spans the upcoming school year and offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. Caseload assignments will be determined based on individual staff strengths, with options available to serve students across preK through 12th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy services to students.
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) targeted to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote communication development.
- Document student progress meticulously and comply with regulatory and school district policies.
- Adapt therapeutic approaches to meet a diverse range of student communication challenges.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Georgia SLP license.
- Certification from the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GAPSC) for schools.
- CCC credential from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
