Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Ranchos De Taos, NM

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Provide specialized speech-language therapy services as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certified by the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) for students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Support students in multiple school settings, including elementary, intermediate, junior, and senior high levels, as well as homebound settings. Location: Ranchos De Taos, NM Assignment Type: Contract for the Current School Year (CSY) Start Date: August 4, 2025 End Date: May 22, 2026 Hours: 16 hours per week (8:00 AM - 3:30 PM daily) Responsibilities: Provide individualized speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 20 students, including four students requiring speech-only services. Serve students aged 3 to 19 across multiple settings, including Alta Vista Elementary/Intermediate School, Questa Junior Senior High School, and homebound placements. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals. Conduct assessments, track progress, and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with educational standards and regulations. Qualifications: Must hold a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology. Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in K-12 educational settings. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to manage and adapt a caseload with diverse speech and language needs.
