Located in Glen Allen, VA, this contract role spans the school calendar year from August 12, 2025, through May 22, 2026, providing consistent support for a 37.5-hour workweek. Multiple openings are available to serve a diverse student caseload within a dynamic K-12 school environment.
Responsibilities include delivering individualized occupational therapy evaluations and interventions to address students developmental, sensory, and functional needs. The role requires collaboration with educators, therapists, and families to develop IEP goals and support students' educational success. Maintaining accurate documentation and complying with state licensure requirements are also essential components of the position.
Qualifications:
- Current Virginia Occupational Therapist (OT) license in good standing
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably across multiple grade levels (K-12)
- Strong ability to assess and implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions in a school setting
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with school staff and families
