Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide specialized support within a K-12 educational environment in Seattle, WA. This position is a contract role for the full school year, offering an opportunity to work with diverse student populations and contribute to their communication development and academic success. Key Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs). Utilize evidence-based therapy techniques tailored to student needs. Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and legal requirements. Provide consultation and training to staff to support communication strategies in the classroom. Qualifications and Experience: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Valid state licensure and SLP School certification for Washington State. Experience working in K-12 school settings is highly preferred. Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
