Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide direct services to middle school students in grades 6-8. This contract role spans the full school year with flexible scheduling options. Location: Elizabeth, NJ K-12 educational setting Responsibilities: Deliver speech-language therapy to middle school students (grades 6-8) Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluations and student needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student communication goals Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies Participate in meetings regarding student progress and intervention planning Qualifications: Valid Speech-Language Pathology license with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence), CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year), or School Certification Experience working with school-aged children preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to manage a caseload effectively within scheduled days and hours Schedule: Two days per week (flexible which days) Hours: 7:45 AM to 2:30 PM This opportunity offers a chance to make an impact in a school setting with a manageable caseload focused on middle school students.
