Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to support K-12 students during a maternity leave assignment. This contract role is based in Aurora, IL, and requires in-person work throughout the duration of the leave, from ASAP through October. Qualified candidates will have experience in pediatric speech-language pathology within educational or healthcare settings. Skills in teletherapy, clinical fellowship year (CFY), and school-based SLP services are highly valued for this position. Key Qualifications: Valid SLP credentials and licensure for school or healthcare settings Experience providing speech and language therapy to pediatric populations, ideally within K-12 environments Ability to conduct therapy sessions effectively in person, with knowledge of teletherapy a plus Completion or near completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school personnel Responsibilities: Deliver individualized speech and language evaluations and therapy for students grades K-12 Develop and implement treatment plans in alignment with student IEP goals Monitor and document progress regularly, communicating outcomes to educators and families Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student support initiatives This full-time, contract position offers a valuable opportunity to apply specialized SLP expertise within an educational setting during a key transitional period.
