Pediatric School Speech and Language Pathologist

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a full school year assignment serving students in grades K-12 at a Burnsville, MN school location. This role supports the development and implementation of speech-language therapy services within an educational setting. Key qualifications and experience include: Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) for Speech-Language Pathologists Experience with pediatric populations Ability to provide teletherapy services Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Familiarity with school-based speech-language pathology, including eligibility determination and individualized education program (IEP) development Experience as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in school or healthcare settings is also valuable Primary duties and responsibilities: Conduct assessments and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with educational goals Deliver therapy through in-person or teletherapy modalities as needed Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress Maintain thorough documentation and comply with school and regulatory standards Participate in meetings such as IEP reviews and team planning This position is a contract role for the complete school year in a supportive, student-focused environment.
