Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A K-12 school-based speech-language pathologist opportunity is available for the upcoming school year in Greenwood, IN. This contract role offers flexibility with multiple assignment options across several school sites, allowing for varied experiences and professional growth in a supportive educational environment. Assignment Options:
Site 1: Caseload of 55 students (weighted 40.4) | Hours: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Site 2: Caseload of 20 students | Hours: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Floater Role (multiple sites):
- Site 3 (July 23 - October 10): Caseload of 49 (weighted 54.8) | Hours: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
- Sites 4 & 5 (September 25 - February 27): Caseloads of 24 and 25 respectively | Hours: 7:00 am - 2:30 pm Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language evaluations and provide individualized therapy services for K-12 students
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
Support continuity of care during maternity leave coverage with seamless handoffs between assignments
Provide short-term coverage or supervise SLPA services as needed, especially in March Qualifications:
Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Experience working within K-12 educational settings
Ability to manage diverse caseloads effectively and efficiently
