Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to support K-4 students at an elementary school in Valley Center, KS for a full school year contract. This role focuses on evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in young learners while collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to foster academic progress and social development. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for referred students. Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and treatment plans aligned with federal, state, and district guidelines. Provide direct therapy in individual and small-group settings. Collaborate with educators, families, and service providers to embed speech-language goals within the classroom environment. Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and submit required reports promptly. Participate actively in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development. Support students requiring augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems when applicable. Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current state licensure as an SLP and/or valid Department of Education certification. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
