Speech and Language Pathologist in Manchester Center, VT

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification is needed to support students in a K-12 school setting located in Bennington, VT. This contract position spans the full academic year, approximately August 27, 2025, through June 15, 2026, following the school calendar for a 37.5-hour workweek. The role involves managing a caseload of 50-60 students across either two elementary schools or one middle school. Key responsibilities include: Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs Delivering high-quality, research-based speech therapy interventions Assisting with Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and creating Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) Collaborating effectively with school staff, external agencies, and families to support student success Monitoring student progress through data collection and analysis to adjust interventions Supervising paraprofessionals as needed to enhance service delivery Maintaining consistent and clear communication with families regarding student progress Candidates must hold current Vermont state licensure appropriate for this role and have Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology. This position requires in-person work within the Bennington area.
