School Speech Therapist

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the upcoming school year within a K-12 educational setting located in Marietta, GA. This role offers the chance to provide essential communication support services to students across all grade levels. Key Responsibilities: Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress. Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and legal guidelines. Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings. Participate in meetings, including Individualized Education Program (IEP) team meetings. Qualifications and Experience: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Current and valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience working with the K-12 student population is preferred. Knowledge of educational laws and regulations related to speech and language services. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
