Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Rusk, TX

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract This position offers an exciting opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services in a K-12 school setting located in Rusk, TX. The role is part-time, 1-2 days per week, covering a contract from ASAP through November, primarily to support a maternity leave. Services span PreK through 12th grade students. Key Qualifications: Certified SLP with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred Candidates with SLPA credentials or on a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) will also be considered Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, preferably in school and teletherapy settings Ability to deliver speech therapy services to diverse student populations across multiple grade levels Responsibilities: Provide speech-language evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for students in grades PreK-12 Collaborate with educators and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports Conduct services in-person and via teletherapy as needed Adapt therapy approaches to meet the unique needs of each student Benefits: 401(k) matching program Dental, vision, and medical insurance coverage through United Healthcare This contract role offers flexibility and the chance to impact student communication skills in a meaningful way.
